The Water Detection System provides an alert or alarm when it detects water inside the Data Centre. Other than water from leakage, the other potential water leakage is from the air-conditioning condensate water or even chilled water pipes (from water-cooled air-conditioning system).

The Water Detection System uses a water sensing cable installed at the Data Center perimeter underneath the Raised Floor to detect water leaking into the Data Centre and identify its exact location. Any conductive liquid present under the floor will also be detected and located. The Central Monitoring System will then alert users via CMS fault alarm.
